Ellie has been teaching preschool since 1980, when she interned and substituted at Berkshire Center for Families and Children. Once she completed Berkshire Community College, she went on to Fitchburg State College to pursue Early Childhood Education. She has worked in the Berkshires in various roles as an Early Childhood educator, administrator, and EC training specialist for twelve years before coming to BCD. Ellie now lives in Pittsfield, MA with her husband and two poodles. She enjoys working with a variety of art media and spending time outdoors.
