What Preschool and Their Peer Readers are Thankful For
Hi Everyone,
Last Wednesday, the Second Grade joined us for Peer Reading. We had the opportunity to use our new flip cameras to record the children as they worked together. After listening to a Native American book about giving thanks, the children traced their hands and the Second Graders wrote what they were thankful for. The children are just getting to know each other.
Second Grade teacher, Kathy Clausen, put our videos on a Voice Thread and, with the assistance of Jenny Wright, we put it in our blog. You will see that our video is somewhat wiggly and rough around the edges. We are just learning how to use this wonderful tool. With more training in how to use some of these programs, we expect to produce better quality movies. So please be patient and enjoy the journey with us.
