Music Lesson Information Night – September 14
All families are invited to attend an information night on Monday, September 14 from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Furey Music Room to learn more about BCD’s after-school instrumental music lesson program.
Meet some of the private music teachers that will be providing lessons to BCD students and learn more about and try different instruments from Rayburn Rental’s instrumental “petting zoo.”
Students in Middle and Upper School are welcome to try any instrument. Students in pre and lower school are limited to string instruments and piano.
A child’s readiness to start an instrument is individual and meeting with a teacher is the best way to determine if that child is ready for lessons.
If you are planning to attend, R.S.V.P. to Heather Fishman at hfishman@berkshirecountryday.org.

Preschool & Kindergarten Classrooms Show Off Summer Renovation
BCD’s new B3, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students started the school year off in beautifully restored classrooms in historic Albright Hall after a summer of repair, renovation, restoration and remodeling. The beautiful hardwood floors were redone, rooms were opened up, walls were painted, new tile and lighting was installed, and new furniture decorates the rooms. We could not be more excited about the work that has been done!
