Eugénie Fawcett, who came to BCD in 1971, teaches Latin as well as Middle School history. In addition to teaching, she coordinates the school schedule, and helps organize the yearly calendar. Each year, Eugénie prepares students for the annual PVCA Classics Day and chaperones the fifth and eighth grade trips to the Metropolitan Museum in New York. She has delivered numerous papers and conducted workshops at teachers’ conferences, including the American Classical League.
