Jim has chaired the English Department at BCD for over thirty years, and teaches English to students in fifth through ninth grade. He crafted, and helps to fine-tune each year, the excellent literature curriculum that is the backbone of the BCD’s English program. A beloved coach, Jim introduces BCD’s youngest middle schoolers to our intramural soccer program in the fall, and picks up his lacrosse stick to teach our fifth and sixth graders the sport in the spring. Jim lives with his wife in Tyringham, MA.
