1 prepare a decorated cover for your civilization binder
2. write a short summary on a notecard

You should also:
Bring in any props, projects, costumes for your display tomorrow.
Finish up your display.

Civilization showcase is at 2:10. Parents invited.

Draft the text for your development piece. You may use bullet points. Remember you will need enough text to fill that entire side panel of your display. You may type or handwrite your draft.

Please read SOTW Ch.25 (if you didn’t do it last week in class) and do the question sheet (orange).
Please also work on your development piece for your showcase if you have extra time.
Showcase is this Friday at 2:10. If you need supplies, be sure to discuss with your parents.

Use your civilization binder and the graphic organizer (worksheet with bullets) to craft your overview. You may have more than three bullet points. It is also a good idea to speak with your parents about supplies you may need for your development piece. Bring the graphic organizer and your civilization binder back to class on Monday.

Write a paragraph on the sheet I gave you to outline what you plan to do for your development piece of the showcase. How will you expand on what is already in your binder? What supplies do you need? How much time will it take? Be sure to consult with your parent to make sure your time frame is realistic and your supplies are at hand, if needed.

Study for your test which is tomorrow. Be sure to use the study guide. If you did not bring in $4 please do that to cover the cost of our showcase display boards.

Study for your test which is Wed. Use the review sheet I gave you in class. The test will have two parts: Athens vs. Sparta and Greeks vs. Persians.

Please bring in $4 to cover the cost of the display boards I have bought for you to work on in class for the Civilization Showcase on May 18.

Parents, please mark your calendar for May 18.

Lastly, there will be an informalreview session in my math room during lunch tomorrow. I’ll be available to answer questions or give help on the test material.
