Mrs. Romano's Third Grade

Knowledge is one commodity of which we can never have a surplus.

Homework Policy

Homework is given four nights per week and is an important vehicle for reinforcing the concepts the children have learned in class.  This process helps students develop a sense of responsiblity for taking an assignment home, completing the work, and returning it to school.  Homework assignments are due the following day, unless otherwise noted by the teacher.  Reviewing papers your child brings home and encouraging him/her to correct any errors reinforces the learning process.  Pride in a job well-done is a positive self-esteem builder.
