Hi 9th grade, here’s the homework:

On a s.p.o.p. (separate piece of paper) please do ex. 6 on page 467 in your textbook and also do #1-6 on pp. 468-469.  You must answer the questions by changing the “vous” in the textbook, to “je.”  In other words, when answering what you would do in the circumstances given, you must say “I would…”  See you on Monday!

Bon weekend!

Hi there 9th grade, please do the following exercises on a separated sheet of paper (S.P.O.P.):

On page 465-466 in your textbook, please do exercises 2 and 3.  That’s for tomorrow!

Merci!

Hi gang, please write 15 original sentences using the future simple.  Remember like with Mr. Fawcett’s sentences it should be obvious what the verb means based on the way you’ve written the sentence.  Good luck!

Hi there 9th grade, your homework is to do the worksheet that I gave you in class.  You will have a quiz next Monday on this material.  The quiz will assess your understanding of the regular and irregular formation of the future simple.  You will have to know the 12 irregular stems that are listed in your cahier (on the purple concept map).  Good luck!

Hi there 9th grade, Your homework is to complete the take-home quiz on the imperative that I gave you today.  It is a graded exercise so do your best!

See you tomorrow!

Hi team, please do the worksheet that I gave you in class on the imperative.  Read the worksheet carefully and then complete the translations on the last page.  Good luck!

Hi there 9th grade, your homework for tonight is to illustrate the proverb “Qui se ressemble, s’assemble.” on page 108 in your cahier.  Remember that we will have two French classes tomorrow!  We’ll have some fun, don’t worry.

Cheers!

Hi gang, your homework is to study for the little quiz for tomorrow (Friday) which is on the pronominal verbs.

The format is as follows:

I.  List. Comp.

a. Discrimination:  you will be asked to distinguish between pronominal and non-pronominal verbs

eg:  Il se lave.  (oui, pronominal)

Il regarde.  (non, non-pronominal)

b.  Dictation:  you will have to write short sentences using pronominal verbs.

eg.  Il se peigne.

II.  Sentence completion:

Elles _____________________ (se laver).

Nous ____________________ (se promener)

III.  Open-ended questions.  Answer questions that feature pronominal verbs.

eg.  A quelle heure est-ce que tu te couches?

C’est tout!  To study, go over your cahier and practice putting the verbs into a sentence.

Bon courage!

Hello 9th grade, your homework is to compose 10 original sentences using the pronominal verbs that we have in our cahier.  Please put the sentences onto page 110 in your cahier.  They should be well-written, neatly printed and thoughtful.  Don’t dash this one off!

Merci!

Hi there 9th grade,  your homework is to complete the take-home, open-cahier test for Monday.  When you have completed it, sign on the line that says “No Aid.  No Violations.”
