First Grade Happenings
The first grade year is rolling right along. We are busy learning about families, peace, and celebrations around the world. We are reading many books, writing, and creating beautiful projects. The children have many insightful comments about peacemakers and what we can do to work toward a peaceful planet.
We celebrated with the second grade after an amazing French performance. The children from both grades recited a poem in French, complete with movement and singing. They’ve got talent!!! After they enjoyed a tasty apple crisp made by Mme. Downes.
Today was the rehearsal for tomorrow’s Music Concert. Please join us at 1:30, in Fitzpatrick Hall, for what is sure to be an excellent program. The Lower School Chorus performs first. See you there!
