Some Lunch Bunch reminders and Lunch Bunch Schedule for 2010/11

Reminders
If a snow day or unforeseen school event interferes with a Lunch Bunch date, please reschedule and inform the class and the office.

Hot cooked meals are recommended; you can use the Fitzpatrick (gym) kitchen to cook or reheat if necessary. Also in this kitchen are plates, silverware, and so forth; please avoid using disposable items. After lunch, load and turn on the dishwasher, and please be sure to leave the kitchen clean!

An announcement by e-mail or handout of the menu a few days before the meal is helpful for kids with dietary restrictions so they can bring in something if they need to. Providing vegetarian options is also helpful.

Eighth-grade Lunch Bunch is usually the third Thursday of the month and served in the homeroom upstairs in Ryan Hall at 11:30 (see the list for exceptions). You can come in earlier that morning to set up, though check with Maria or Geoff beforehand to find out if a class is going on.

If your scheduled date doesn’t work for you, please trade with another parent (though the monthly dates should remain the same). If you make a change, please revise the schedule accordingly and send the new version to all the 8th-grade parents.
