Second Grade Theater Performance Second Grade students demonstrated their theater skills in a special presentation entitled, “The Boy Who Could Do Anything: The Legend of Quetzalcoatl.” The Legend of Quetzalcoatl was drawn from the pre-Columbian tradition of ancient Mexico. This story tells of the god coming to earth and eventually bringing with him the secrets of agriculture, art, beauty, and eventually music for the people to enjoy and find fulfillment in life.
