Around the World Everyday at BCD, diversity is woven into the fabric of our teaching. Our children begin French when they are three, Spanish in fourth grade and they can add Latin studies in 6th grade. Lower School students “visit” a new country every month in Library. History and literature studies are in depth and cover a wide range of cultures, ethnicities and time frames. In music this year, we have looked at songs in many different languages from around the world. The video above presents some of our favorites.
