Amnesty International Club members would like to thank everyone who participated in the soccer equipment drive for students in Haiti. We will end the drive this Friday. In the spring we will again ask for donations of outgrown soccer equipment. Many thanks also to everyone who has participated in the fleece drive for students in Nepal. That drive will continue until March, so please keep us in mind if you acquire new fleece clothing over the break, and can donate to the drive. It is not a used clothing drive, but they are specifically asking for gently used fleece. The connections of people in the area to these two worthy causes makes our participation feel immediate and important. Thanks again, we couldn’t do it without you!
