Opening Day Assembly 003

Head of School Paul Lindenmaier welcomed students back to school at a special morning assembly in Fitzpatrick Hall. Mr. Lindenmaier introduced our new students to the School and shared his box of items representing the work that was done on campus this summer – from the “hoops” Mr. Bingham and Mr. Lee jumped through to get our campus ready for the first day of school to our new fiber optic cables for high-speed Internet access, new laptops for a new laptop cart, and the new carpets and paint for Peterson and Furey Hall, which suffered water damage after our summer of rain. The last item to come out of his back-to-school box? Ninth grader Kelt Wilska, who read BCD’s new mission statement from a plaque given to the school by last year’s graduating 9th grade class. With the ringing of the school bell, the students were off for their first day.
